When two or three window glasses are separated from each other by voids filled with vacuum or gas to reduce heat transfer, they are combined into a single glass system called Isıcam (double-glazing). Isıcam units are produced by mounting multiple glass plates to form a single system. Nowadays, the number of glass plates used in Isıcam systems has increased to three due to rising energy costs. The panels used in Isıcam systems are separated from each other by bars and contain stationary air or gas. These glasses are combined and mounted on wider window profiles to tolerate the thickness of the glass. Isıcam products provide an ideal energy-saving advantage in addition to increased sound insulation. The sealed area between the two glasses serves as a secondary insulation agent. Increased thermal resistance reduces the amount of heat lost in winter, allowing your home to stay warmer.
